Tri Star Taekwondo

Tristar is very welcoming and the coaches and instructors are great. The ethics and values they instil into the members is fantastic. My kids love going and I have seen great improvement in the short time we have attended not only in their skills but also their confidence.

My daughter started at Tri Star about a year and a half ago. She has gained so much self confidence, self discipline and so so much more. She has made so many friends. The instructors and coaches are the best! The are very skilled and so kind and caring. They have truly changed our whole family for the better. It’s such a wonderful community. My daughter has goals, and aspirations to continue so she can be part of the coaching team when she is older. She feels safe and valued. It’s been the best all around and Master Sai is truly the best.

We joined Tristar last year for my six year old, and we love it. The instructors are very passionate about Tae Kwon Do. They teach respect, discipline and hard work, while making sure to fit in time for activities that the kids love. My son came home just tonight from class saying “this was the best Tae Kwon Do night EVER!”

We started training at Tristar Taekwondo soon after things started to open up again in summer 2021. Our family had been considering enrolling our children in some form of Martial Arts training before the pandemic put everything on hold. We had looked into different schools around the city and ended up at Tristar based on the recommendations of a number of previous and current members. My children have tried different sports and extracurricular activities over the years, but had never quite found something they were passionate about until they started training at Tristar.Master Sai is a firm, but fair coach and my children have really responded well to his tutelage. The other masters, coaches and instructors are also skilled, supportive mentors. The students of Tristar and their family members have become like family to us.I would recommend Tristar Taekwondo to anyone thinking about Martial Arts training for their children or for themselves; a wonderful school with outstanding coaches and a supportive, encouraging environment.

I recently joined Tri Star Taekwondo on January 31, 2022 and I must say that it has been an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was part of a family. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, patient and dedicated to helping their students grow and develop new skills. What I appreciate most about this company is that they are not in it for the money but rather, their true intention is to help their students feel confident and safe. The atmosphere is very welcoming and positive, which has helped me a lot in my journey to learn Taekwondo. Overall, I'm glad that I joined Tri Star Taekwondo and I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to learn martial arts and grow as a person :)

We’ve been with Tri Star since the COVID closures ended. I was very hesitant at first but decided to try it because of its proximity to my house. The first few classes, I continued to question whether Master Sai’s ‘strict’ style would be suitable for my kids who were 4 and 6 at the time. But soon after, I started to see how amazing it was to help them with self-control, confidence, physical growth, and goal-setting! When my 6 year old went to a tournament and got a Gold medal with Masters Sai’s amazing coaching, I couldn’t believe it! My kids absolutely love Tri Star and all the coaches and I am so glad we found this hidden gem! We can’t recommend this place enough!

Tri Star Taekwondo has been part of our lives for about a year and a half now and all our kids have grown in confidence and have formed such great friendships. The coaching staff are skilled and work with integrity. The coaching staff give great instructions and are there for the athletes when they need help whether in class or during competitions. Tri Star Taekwondo provides a safe, clean, friendly environment and is a great community to be part of.

My daughter and I joined almost a month ago now and we can't get enough. Master Si and the other masters make it fun for the kids but also keep them disciplined and respectful not only to the instructors but to the parents! Builds self confidence, discipline, and competitiveness to build themselves and be better.For the adult class its mostly higher belts but dont worry there will always be someone with the lower belts focusing on them and improving. The cardio is amazing, the classes are lots of fun, and everyone is a huge family. So much more can be said about the club but you need to try it out for yourself, you won't be dissapointed.

My son Ari, started at age 4 he is turning 5. We picked this martial art to help him with attention,focus and descipline. Ari has come a long way with all of those aspects. When we first started he did not know how to do a jumping jack now kicking, punching, jumping jacks, push up are no problem. The best part is seeing him perform the techniques with so much determination and drive. You will not go wrong in taking your child here.

Our family tried out three other types of martial arts schools before deciding on Tristar TaeKwonDo. Here, we were met with an immediate sense of community that has continued to grow throughout our time there. The instructors are very detail oriented, and they take the time needed with each student to achieve results. As a parent, I’ve enjoyed watching my children experience new challenges, and overcome them with the help of the Tristar instructors. Our children look forward to going, and they take great pride in the accomplishments they’ve achieved thus far.
